Pilsen historical underground
The underground system of Pilsen began to emerge as early as the foundation of the city in 1295. Cellars and underground tunnels served not only for food storage but also as shelter and escape routes at times of emergency and siege. The tour of the underground system spans 800 meters and includes archeological finds, a working replica of a water wheel in the water management section, and a book printing exhibition.
