St. Bartholomew''s cathedral
The Gothic cathedral of St. Bartholomew is the most precious monument in the historical center. Its 102.6 meters tall tower (tallest in the Czech Republic) dominates the city center and offers
a splendid view of the city's environs. The renowned Madonna of Pilsen, a magnum opus painted in the style of "beatiful Madonnas" of Czech Gothic art, adorns the main altar.
